One of the biggest names in comedy is set to arrive in Liverpool today to launch his new podcast.
Joe Lycett has become a household name as he has fronted Channel 4 shows such as Late Night Lycett and Travel Man. The 35-year-old has regularly grabbed the headlines with stunts such as when he changed his name to Hugo Boss to protest against how the multi-billon pound fashion brand targeted small companies for using "boss" in the title.
Joe's latest podcast is titled Turdcast, which features interviews with celebrities on their most awful toilet stories. The first episode is a chat with Gary Lineker who relives the infamous moment from Italia 90 when he soiled himself on the pitch.

Joe is starting the podcast in eye-catching style as he has designed a giant inflatable, portable toilet known as the "Turdis", which will be at the Royal Albert Dock from 1pm - 3pm. Joe has invited members of the public to attend the grand opening where they can walk the brown carpet, use the toilet and share their own stories, which will be included in the first episode.
Joe's social media followers were in hysterics when he issued the announcement on social media platform X yesterday. He said: "You could potentially be included in the podcast (only once you’ve left, what you get up to in The Turdis is literally your business).
"The tour will also visit HartlePOOl (Thursday 30th November) and RamsBOTTOM (Thursday 14th December), details will be on my socials closer to the time. See ya tomorrow, Liverpool!"
