Comedian and social media star Matt Rife has announced a string of UK tour dates as he embarks on a 100-date global tour. The performer is set to tick nearby Manchester and Birmingham off his list as well as tour shows in London this September.

Cardiff, Newcastle, Glasgow and Bristol complete the UK leg of his tour closely followed by a show in Dublin towards the end of the month. Taking to Twitter Matt called it his 'lifelong dream' and something he never thought would be possible.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, September 9, during the Ticketmaster general sale, but increased demand has seen many UK fans race to try and get tickets early. Fans could buy early-access tickets with O2 Priority but less than 48 hours into its presale tickets are no longer available, leaving many fans disappointed.

Live Nation is another option for UK fans looking to buy tickets early, and anyone can do this as long as they sign up and make an account before its presale, which starts at 10am Thursday, June 8.

Each venue in the UK, like Birmingham and Glasgow for instance, have different requirements for pre-sale, so it's worth fans checking individual arena sites too. For the show at Manchester's O2 Apollo on September, 13, fans can join the Promoter presale.

Fans travelling to Birmingham have another option in Friday's general sale, as local site The Ticket Factory, is also set to host an online sale queue, and Liverpool fans looking to travel up to Glasgow for the September 3 show can also make use of tomorrow's Live Nation presale.

So far, London is the only city to be granted to shows, as Matt performs on Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18 at the Eventim Apollo.

The 27-year-old rose to fame on TikTok having started his content from his home town in Ohio to building a following of more than 13 million. The UK tour dates follow on from a series of shows around the world in what's to be his biggest tour yet.

His ProbleMATTic World Tour will bring the quick witted, and vulnerable material which has grown Matt a steady following over the past 13 years, including 2 billion global views. In 2021, Rife self-produced and distributed through YouTube his first one-hour comedy special, "Only Fans".

This past April, the comedian bet on himself again and self-released his highly anticipated second stand-up special, "Matthew Steven Rife" on YouTube.
