Coronation Street viewers were wowed as a famous star returned to the show.

Monday's episode of the long-running soap continued to explore the storyline with Dylan Wilson's missing trainers. Sean Tully demanded answers and vowed to contact the school after the trainers remained missing.

The shoes were taken by Mason Radcliffe, who was warned that Sean planned to report the missing item to the school. However, the character, played by Luca Toolan, decided to plant the shoes in Liam Connor's locker.

Liam took the blame and Maria Windass was called into the school to talk about his behaviour. Fans were thrilled during the episode as it meant Orla Crawshaw returned to the show.

The deputy head is played by Carla Medonça, who fans know for her role as the mum Sophie in classic children's show, My Parents Are Aliens. However, she showed off a new look in tonight's programme, which was praised by fans following the show on social media platform, X.
