Emmerdale's Samantha Giles has shared another new acting role she has undertaken since quitting the ITV soap after a huge 25 years.
The actress, 52, joined the cast as The Woolpack's new barmaid in 1998 and continued to be one of the programme's key characters until Bernice Blackstock left the village earlier this month. Samantha will play the Wicked Stepmother in Cinderella at the Bradford Alhambra theatre this festive season.
And she has just shared another new job on social media. Samantha will star in stage play The Syndicate alongside former Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent.

The production is based on Kay Mellor's hit BBC show which was watched by millions of people over four series. Its 2024 run will include dates in Leeds, Milton Keynes, Newcastle and Glasgow.
Posts from the play's X, formerly Twitter, account on Thursday confirmed Samantha will play "the role of kind-hearted worker Denise". Sharing the post, Samantha added: "I’m so excited to be doing this next year! Do book your tickets before they sell out!!"
Updates also added The Wanted's Max George will make his stage debut in the production, while Brooke, 31, will play a character called Amy.
