When you walk through Liverpool city centre nowadays, you may not be aware of the famous stores which once welcomed hundreds of customers through their doors everyday.

Many of the buildings which housed these lost shops are still standing but have now been rebranded and others have been demolished completely. But memories of shopping in Liverpool through the decades will remain fond in the memories of many.

Although the changing face of Liverpool following the completion of Liverpool ONE in 2008 is something to be celebrated, we can't help but miss some of the shops we have lost over the years.
