I'm A Celebrity viewers were thrilled as Tony Bellew joined the show.

The former boxer arrived on TV's toughest entertainment challenge at the end of Wednesday's episode. The 40-year-old has travelled Down Under with jockey Frankie Dettori to shake things up in the ITV programme.

The line-up will be split into two and the sportsmen will be coaches who lead their new campmates "into battle" in the Scarena. Fans following the show on social media platform X were excited by the update.

Followers unearthed a post Tony had sent to former politician Nigel Farage, who has been a controversial addition to the show. Mr Farage had shared a post on November 29, 2022 captioned: "According to the ONS figures, London, Manchester and Birmingham are now all minority white cities."

Tony issued a furious response as he shot back: "Why does someone’s colour matter? Who cares if you're white, black, yellow or pink? All that matters is are they good or no good people! Learn to see people for who they are and not what they look like!

"It’s cos of people like you that racism still exists! Absolute maniac you are!" A fan named Lau reshared the post and said: "Tony Bellew has historic beef with farage""

Other fans predicted the two are set to clash. Hugh said: "The highlight of #ImACeleb will be Tony Bellew putting it on Nigel Farage. No way he's having him! (All verbally, I hasten to add)"

Dean commented: "I guarantee this now. As Nigel Farage has stated one day he may be in charge of the Tory government. I can’t wait to see what the scouser Tony Bellew makes of him"

Joe added: "Tony Bellew vs Nigel Farage for the next 2.5 weeks"
