Liverpool did battle with Manchester City for the league title over the past 10 years and will do so again on Saturday when the two sides meet at the Etihad.
The two squads have been battered by injuries, however Jurgen Klopp was in high spirits on Thursday as many of his players reported for training on Thursday. The boss addresses the media at 1:30pm today, for which we will bring full coverage from the AXA Training Centre.
Everton's Premier League points deduction also continues to send shockwaves through English football with Liverpool one of the clubs watching events unfold.
But for now much of the focus remains on whether City will face punishment if found guilty of 115 charges of breaking financial rules. We'll have the latest on that and any injury and transfer news as it happens.

Mohamed Salah transfer vow made by Al-Ittihad chief after Liverpool rejection
Al-Ittihad president Anmar Al-Haili has vowed to reveal all the details about their summer-long pursuit of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
Salah. faced intense speculation over his future at Anfield after the reigning Saudi Pro League champions looked to continue their shopping spree in Europe - namely the Reds and the Premier League.
Last summer, Salah's Liverpool team-mate Fabinho signed for Al-Ittihad after ending his five-year stay on Merseyside. The Brazilian midfielder followed fellow Reds legends Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino in the Middle East, after they joined Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ahli respectively.
And during the final week of the transfer window, Ittihad submitted a verbal offer worth up to £150million for Salah. However, it was immediately rebuffed by Liverpool, after reiterating their firm stance surrounding the Egyptian forward.
Saudi Pro League director of football Michael Emenalo has previously claimed that "no doors" have been closed on their interest in Salah.
And in an interview with Spanish outlet AS, Al-Halil has suggested he will disclose their pursuit of Salah, as well as former Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos and Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne.
He said: "I remained silent… but I hope to be able to respond soon to what happened in the last week of the summer market regarding Salah, Ramos… and De Bruyne."
