There's a bargain to be had for the over 60s who are being offered cheap cinema tickets.
Showcase Cinemas are hosting ‘Silver Screenings’, which means cinemagoers aged over 60 can get a ticket for £5. Every Monday before 4pm, cinephiles can pop down to their nearest venue and choose from a feature of their preference.
From the latest blockbusters including Barbie and Oppenheimer to cult favourites, there's no limit to the £5 ticket.

Jon Dixon, UK marketing director at Showcase Cinemas, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer this exclusive price for our Silver Screenings programme each Monday. It’s available for any film showing at our cinemas nationwide, meaning over-sixties can enjoy Oppenheimer to Andre Rieu…and everything in between.”
