Primark's £45 coat looks just like one sold by a designer brand - but for much cheaper.
The bargain retailer's Herringbone Oversized Coat is part of its new Rita Ora collaboration and is priced at £45. The coat features a longline, slouchy fit and an all-over, monochromatic herringbone design.
The coat looks very similar to one from Saint Laurent, which has a steeper price tag. The designer brand's oversized coat in Chevron wool is priced at £4,170 and is very similar in colour and style. Shoppers could save around £4,125 by opting for the Primark dupe.
The Saint Laurent coat has a similar double-breasted, slouched design and monochrome colour scheme. The coats both also have large notch lapels, long sleeves and slip pockets to the front. However, the designer version also comes with a detachable belt.
The full description for Primark's coat reads: "Rita Ora’s collection with us is just bursting at the seams with striking styles and fluid silhouettes. This oversized coat boasts a distinctly retro allure with its longline, slouchy fit, double-breasted button fastenings and monochromatic all-over herringbone design.
"Large notch lapels define the neckline, long sleeves feature and two slip pockets to the front impart the style with functional flair. Come cooler weather, we just know that this is the coat you’ll be reaching for time and time again and you know it’ll layer over every and any outfit — so whether it’s a hoodie and joggers kind of day, a chunky jumper dress moment or just jeans and a tee, this longline coat has got you covered... literally.
"This item has an oversized silhouette, we recommend to size down depending on your desired fit."
