The River of Light festival will take over the waterfront later this month.
From Friday, October 27 to Sunday, November 5, the free outdoor art gallery will illuminate the city centre from 5pm to 9pm, with this year's theme ‘United By Light’ paying homage to the United By Music strapline used during the Eurovision Song Contest.
Liverpool will welcome 12 brand-new installations which are said to showcase influential artists. Three of the artworks will also give a subtle nod to the Eurovision Song Content which was hosted in the city earlier this year.

The installations will be based near several iconic landmarks including directly in front of the Three Graces and next to the Our Lady and Saint Nicholas Church.
Below is a map of this year's route.
Boasting a distance of two kilometres, visitors will be able to take in several installations along the way and visit some of the lesser known streets of the city.
