Bobby Brazier's routine on Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing is set to pay tribute to his late mum Jade Goody.

EastEnders star Bobby received his highest score of the series for his Jive last weekend. However, it wasn’t enough to stop the actor, 20, from finding himself in the bottom two with presenter Angela Rippon, 79.

The judges chose to save Bobby and Diane meaning he was safe for another week. This Saturday, alongside professional partner Dianne Buswell, he will perform a Couple’s choice routine to Maxwell’s This Woman’s work.

The pair have chosen a contemporary style, with ballroom elements that are likely to pay tribute to his late mum, Jade Goody. Speaking on Strictly It Takes Two last night with Fleur East, Bobby said the song choice has moved him.

He explained: “It is the perfect song, sung by the perfect man and it is the perfect tone. The lyrics are just profound and touched me at my core, it is gorgeous. I am going to have to work very hard this week to do it justice.”

Bobby went on to add that Diane will play a special role in the routine. He said: “I am a child, well there is me as a child and I come out as me now. I have got Dianne, who replicates a woman, let's say my mother probably.

“We go on this journey throughout. I don’t know the whole dance yet to tell you completely but it is emotional. I think there could be a few tears.”
