Strictly Come Dancing head judge has said she is "sorry" to her co-star Anton Du Beke after pulling a sneaky trick earlier this week.
The 63-year-old, from Wallasey, is best known for her role in the dancing competition show, having first joined Strictly back in 2017. Shirley has been dancing since she was just seven years old.
But a few months ago she revealed she was taking on a new career path and becoming an author. Shirley describes her debut novel Murder on the Dancefloor as "your backstage pass to a world of sex, lies, intrigue, backstabbing and murder".

She also said it features "a cast of fabulous characters". Anton, 57, also has a book out at the moment - romantic wartime saga The Paris Affair.
While Shirley appeared at a book signing at a Sainsbury's store on Wednesday she covered Anton's books with copies of her own instead before sharing a video of her doing so on Instagram. Captioning the comical post she simply said: "Sorry @mrantondubeke … it wasn’t me".
Fans were loving the clip as Michelle said: "Oh no, poor Anton, he’s my favourite. Made me laugh though" and Alison said: "Haha both books on my Xmas list so no worries here". Daanya said: "Oh Shirley this is actually hilarious".
