I've spoken about one of my favourite Wirral walks before, but this time, it was extra beautiful.
Living near Port Sunlight is magical, and although I don't quite live in the village, that doesn't mean I can't take a stroll through the pretty area and marvel at the aesthetically pleasing spots. When I first moved to Bebington, I met up with one of my old work colleagues who took me to 'The Dell' - I'd never heard of The Dell before, but I was absolutely amazed as soon as I laid eyes on it.
If you haven't walked across The Dell before, I'd describe it as a secluded spot in the middle of Port Sunlight that's super serene and peaceful. A walk through the area is like walking through a real life Instagram filter - especially in autumn.

To get to The Dell, simply walk down Greenbank Road then across the bowling greens. You can also access The Dell past Port Sunlight train station by crossing the road. Although it's a small area, the hidden gem spot isn't short of Instagram opportunities.
Filled with huge trees with golden leaves scattered across the floor and pretty flowers, the 'Dell Bridge' is the focal point of the area. The bridge is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building, and adds plenty of charm and character to the autumnal walk.
If you've ever watched Gilmore Girls, a walk through The Dell this time of year is like stepping into Stars Hallow. Before my walk, I made sure to get myself a hot coffee from Tudor Rose Tea Rooms for extra cosiness and warmth.
Whilst taking loads of photographs during my walk, I actually noticed at least four professional photographers snapping some photographs too. They were really focusing on the beautiful colours throughout the trees, that genuinely looked like something from a postcard.
It was so lovely to just stop and admire the beautiful nature with other people in this special spot. In fact, I'd go as far to say this is one of the most stunning spots on the Wirral, whatever the season.
For as long as I live in Bebington, I'll always choose to take a trip to The Dell when I want some quiet time. It's the perfect spot for something different, and just one of the reasons why I love living on the Wirral.
